Hatfield Woodhouse Pupil Dances Her Way to the World Championships!
Paisley, a talented young dancer from our school, recently had the incredible opportunity to compete at the World Championships for Irish dancing!
Filling in for a last-minute substitution, Paisley was thrilled to be selected for the Under 21s team. The competition took place in Glasgow this Easter, and Paisley was particularly excited about the prospect of meeting the legendary Irish dancer, Michael Flatley.
Paisley and her team performed brilliantly, achieving an impressive 24th place finish in their group. This marks a significant improvement over last year’s results, where the team placed 33rd. Fueled by this success, Paisley is already setting her sights on returning to the World Championships next year.
Paisley’s unforgettable experience was made possible thanks to funding support from the Delta Academies Charitable Trust. Their generosity allowed Paisley to showcase her talent on the world stage.
