We're very pleased to have been awarded our PSQM Bronze Award!

What is PSQM I hear you ask?  It's the Primary Science Quality Mark - this is an accreditation through the Assosciation of Science Education and the National Science Learning Centres. It is an award scheme to enable primary schools across the UK to evaluate, strengthen and celebrate their science provision. Schools can achieve bronze, silver and gold awards.

This was the first step on our pathway to ensure that all the science teaching and learning in our school is at the highest level.  We'll be embedding all the best practice that our PSQM journey highlighted.

We are currently working very hard to achieve our Silver Award.  If you, or any member of your family,  works in the science, technology or engineering sector then Mrs Lynch or Mrs Chesney would love to hear from you if you think you can assist us on our journey.

Here's a selection from our submission so you can celebrate our successes with us here at Hatfield Woodhouse Primary School.
