Dear parents/carers and children,

Welcome back!  I hope you had a fantastic Summer holiday. I am looking forward to getting  to know my new class and to getting started on our new topic this term.

Mrs Chesney - Class teacher & Vice principal

I have been teaching for 16 years and enjoy my job, everyday is different, you never know what is going to happen. It keeps me on my toes. My favourite subjects are science, maths and computing, they are fun and hands on.  I have a son Will - who is currently in year 7 and a daughter Ava - who is in year 6. When we are not completing homework we enjoy visiting theme parks such as: Alton towers, Drayton manor and Legoland.

 Mrs Grey - Teaching assistant

I have worked at Hatfield Woodhouse for many years now, in many different year groups. I enjoy working with year 5 and 6 and helping them prepare for their transition to Secondary school. My favourite subject is music, I lead whole school singing and mix traditional songs with more modern hits. I also hold choir and recorder club, at times I think it will never come together, then finally it all works out and sounds beautiful.I have had the pleasure of taking the choir to many concerts small and large over the past few years.
