Miss R.Winks- Class teacher 

My name is Miss Winks and I am currently the year 5 teacher and leader of English in school, aswell as looking after NQTs and trainee teachers. I have been teaching for six years now and have spent the majority of this time teaching in Year Six. My specialist subject is English. At school I love teaching English, Science and Art. Outside of school, I enjoy travelling, going to the gym, reading and spending time with friends and family!












Mrs S. Gray - Teaching Assistant (pictured on the right)

My name is Mrs Gray and I'm a Teaching Assistant in Year 5.  My favourite day at school is everyday! I love bring out laughter - even when we are working hard.  Outside of work I love to spend time with my husband Geoff, my daughter Elizabeth and my three cats.

Mrs J. Parkin - Teaching Assistant (pictured on the left)

My name is Mrs Parkin I have worked at Hatfield Woodhouse for many years as a Teaching Assistant.   My favourite lessons are maths, science and anything hands on/messy!.  I love spending time with my husband Richard and my son Jack, when he is home from university in Cumbria.  In my spare time I have a passion for dance and I attend and help teach modern jive dance classes in the local area (Sheffield and Wakefield).

Important points:

Visits - Please remember that Year 5 will be visiting the National Space Centre in February.  Please ensure that you make your contribution on ParentPay.  Please note that contributions must be made for the visit to go ahead.

Baking money – Please remember to send in your half termly baking money £2 (for each half term). 

Planners/Homework/reading foldersPlanners and reading folders needs to be brought in everyday.  You homework folders need to be brought in on Tuesdays (English homework).

PEPE will take place twice a week (Monday and Friday). PE kits should be brought into school on Mondays and taken home on Fridays, just in case we need to amed PE days for any reason. Please note that swimming won't take place until February.  More information to follow.

UniformPlease note that children are expected to wear uniform.  Trainers are not acceptable footwear. Notes will be sent home if there are any issues.
